The day has come too soon! The house has been wrecked and the home has been packed.
The movers have come to move it far, far away.
The lady inventories every box and item, then puts a sticker on it.
Cora's crib and all her things are going to Minneapolis. Cora won't sleep in her crib ever again.
When she gets to Minneapolis she will sleep in a big bed and Hazel will soon be sleeping in the baby crib.
Every room is "full" of stuff. Not really, but with it all in the center of the room there is little space to move in.
Soon it will all be packed in the big truck that broke the tree. Too bad it rains on moving day. I wasn't the only one sad on this day.
When they finished loading they said it will be delivered tomorrow! At NOON! So the kids Turners didn't come to Grandpa's and Grandma's to stay a few days. They had to drive through the night to receive their things.
Good Bye, Evanston! It has been a great four years. It was a good place to start a family. A good place to learn. And especially a good place for Grandpa to have part of his family close.
