Logan has just come out of a "quiet period". She is more entertaining than ever. She wasn't shy when she came in. She was all smiles and took off her jacket and came right in. After she and Kyle had their lunch it was time for Daddy to go to work.
Logan is an eager waver.
She played very actively. She got the "Big Bear" and his ancient chair out. She had a conversation with Grandma about the chair being too big for the bear and for her. She then had a long conversation naming each family member and how it was too big for them. The new word of the day was "ya-hmm". Of course I missed that part.
By the time I had the camera on she was talking about who she likes. There is only one really good "ya-hmm" in the early seconds of the following video; but, she slipped into a "Lena and Ollie" dialect.
Logan is so cute. She had her day for sure. She liked to sit on my lap and lean back with her hands behind her head and talk. She liked to run down the hall; even getting Grandma to run! And she had a wonderful conversation with "Big Bear" about coloring with the "pentschil".
She sat Big Bear in the little desk chair and moved all the coloring books and paper from the desk to the end table. She then moved the cans of Crayolas and pencils to the end table. Logan then started her conversation.
"Would you like to color, Bear?" Then Logan would have a long pause as if Bear was talking to her. "Okay. You will need a paper." Logan got a sheet of the paper .
"Would you like to use a 'pentschil'?" Another long pause "Okay." Then she picked out a pencil and placed it in Bear's lap. "Okay?"
It was so amusing to watch her.
We also had a conversation about where everyone was. "My Mommy go work.", Logan said.
"Where is Daddy?", we asked.
"Daddy go work.", she said. She had an answer for everyone in the family. Then Grandma asked, "Where's Logan?"
Logan would point to herself and smile, "I here."
Then Mommy came and whisked her away. And Grandma a I just re-enacted her play and laughed.
